SSG Bronte Thompson

Bio

Staff Sergeant (SSG) Thompson enlisted in 2012 as Combat Engineer (12B) in the North Carolina Army Guard.  In 2019 he became an Equal Opportunity Leader. He is also a Master Resilience Trainer since 2020 and a suicide prevention representative since 2023.  SSG Thompson began supporting the ROTC program in 2023 as a National Guard Recruiting Liaison.

“I like working with the Army ROTC program because I get to help shape the minds of new leaders to the United States Military; but also, on a larger scale, because this college experience is the first time a lot of these young adults have been away from home and getting to help them grow on a personal level to something greater than when they started this college experience is rewarding in its own right,” said SSG Thompson.
