Ms. Butler commissioned as a second lieutenant from Old Dominion University’s ROTC program. She served as an Adjutant General Corps (Human Resources) Officer until 2019, when she began her civilian career. She joined the NC State Army ROTC program in 2021.
Of her experiences, Ms. Butler explained, “I enjoyed being in the Army and also being a cadet.”
